Q: Can I visit a TIGER machine in the U.S.?

A: If you are interested in visiting a facility with TIGER machines, please contact us. We have hundreds of installations throughout the United States and Canada.

Q: Does TIGER manufacture their own batching controls, or does a third party supply those in full-facility projects?

A: We have our own brand as Pathfinder Systems, but we can also use others if a customer requests a particular brand.

Equipment

Q: How many cycles can I run per hour on TIGER equipment?

A: An average 12 at a time plant will run around 11 second cycles, and an average 4 at a time plant will run around 8 second cycles. There are also machines that run 6 second cycles on standard 8″ CMUs.

Q: How many Tiger block machines are operating in the U.S.?

A: There are approximately 50 Tiger block machines in operation in the U.S.

Q: Can you manually change a mold if the automatic changer breaks down?

A: Yes, but the mold changer is designed to eliminate break downs.

Q: Can TIGER block machines also use Besser or Columbia style molds?

A: Yes, many of them can. The TG Model and the PS Series do not require Besser vibrators. You may also use Stearns molds. The Model S will accept Besser style molds with only the addition of a top plate. Further mold adaptation is not required.

Q: Are all block and paver machines hydraulic?

A: They are. They can also be adjusted to different speeds depending on the product.

Q: Is TIGER Machine the only company that manufactures machines to produce both pavers and blocks?

A: TIGER Machine is the only company that manufacturers machines that can produce quality, reliable block and pavers.

Q: Where are your service people located?

A: Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, West Virginia, Wyoming, Michigan, New Jersey and Wisconsin

Q: Does TIGER have their own installers, or do you use outside contractors?

A: Our internal technicians at Pathfinder have experience installing all our products, including TIGER machines.

Q: Can Pathfinder Systems provide all of the equipment for our plant, and a facility-level installation if we want to take that route?

Q: What kind of timeframe may I expect for a typical facility development project?

A: No, we stock a complete line of inventory to ensure timely delivery.
